New · For the household

A family AI chatbot
that stays in the family.

AgentBox Home isn't a cloud service — it's a device you own. Every conversation stays inside your house, encrypted on the box itself. It runs the ethically trained, multilingual Salamandra model locally — homework help, recipes, letters, translation and everyday questions — with web search to stay current.

Yours, and encrypted

Conversations run and stay on the box on your shelf — not a stranger's server. Data is encrypted on the device, with no accounts mining your chats and nothing sold on.

Speaks your language

Salamandra was trained across 35 European languages, so the whole household can chat, translate and learn in the language they're most comfortable in.

Web search built in

A local model with a live window on the world. When a question needs today's answer, AgentBox Home searches the web and cites what it found.

Privacy first

Not the cloud. Something you own.

There's no subscription to cancel and no server farm holding your family's questions. AgentBox Home is hardware you buy once and keep — and everything on it is encrypted.

Standard encryption, included

Every AgentBox Home encrypts your data on the device out of the box, secured by your own user account, password and PIN. Nothing leaves the house unless you ask it to search the web — and even then, only the query goes out, never your conversation.

  • On-device encryption at rest
  • User / password / PIN access control
  • No cloud account, no chat mining
  • You own the hardware and the data on it
Add-on · Privacy Key Launch · at cost

Hardware-backed encryption

An optional physical security key that ties decryption to a device only you hold. Pull the key and the box's data is sealed — stronger protection than a PIN alone, for households that want it.

$199 $99 add-on · launch price

Sold at roughly cost during launch. Returns to $199 afterward.

Meet Salamandra

Salamandra is an open, multilingual language model developed by the Language Technologies unit at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and trained on the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer.

It was built deliberately and transparently: trained exclusively on open-access and public-domain data, instruction-tuned on public-domain data for chat, and released under a permissive Apache 2.0 license. An AI you can actually trust in the home, because you can see where it came from.
